About us...

We are Eric and Eileen Payne ,we began our Folk Club at 'The Fold 'at Bransford in Autumn 2009 - see 'Folk at the Fold' page for details. We currently perform along with Jim Preston as 'Shepherd's Purse'.

We make CD recordings of songs written by Eric in both traditional and contemporary veins . Our CD’s are sold to benefit charitable organisations. We are currently supporting Macmillan Cancer Support. From 2019 we will be supporting the 'Samaritans.'

We have written and performed a number of folk plays over the last 8 years with our theatre group " Fold Theatre". Our current production "Beside The Seaside" will continue to tour until early 2019, at which point we will be ready to 'put a new show , 'Appen It'll Brighten Up Yet!" on the road."
